Upgrading your plan

Is your current plan starting to feel a little too small? Whether you’re enjoying our FREE tier or one of our fixed-price plans, it’s easy to scale up as your needs grow.

Upgrading in Smartix Studio takes just a few clicks. Once you select a new plan, we’ll automatically bill you for the difference this month, so you only pay for what you need. Moving forward, future months will be charged at your new plan rate — simple, predictable, and hassle-free.

If you’re upgrading from the FREE tier, you’ll need to add a credit or debit card. From that point on, payments are taken automatically each month on the same calendar day, giving you one less thing to worry about.

Downgrading your plan

Downgrades don’t happen immediately — they are scheduled to take effect at the start of your next billing period. This ensures you can continue to use all the passes and features you’ve already paid for during the remainder of the current month.

When the new billing period begins, we check your number of active passes:

• If your active passes are within the limit of your selected plan, the downgrade will proceed, and you’ll be billed the lower plan price.

• If you have more active passes than the new plan allows, the downgrade cannot be applied. However, if there is a middle-tier plan that accommodates your active passes, we will automatically move you to that plan instead.

Example

You are on our LARGE plan (1,000 passes) and request a downgrade to the SMALL plan (250 passes). At the start of the next month, you still have 400 active passes. Since the SMALL plan cannot support 400 passes, the downgrade to SMALL cannot occur. Instead, we will move you to the MEDIUM plan, which provides 600 passes — enough for your current usage.
