Tickets are scanned using the free Smartix Scan mobile app, allowing your staff to use existing smartphones or tablets instead of investing in costly scanners.

Managed re-entry (optional)
Section titled “Managed re-entry (optional)”Smartix even supports exit scanning for re-entry, helping venues manage exceptions in a controlled way. For example, consider a parent leaves to fetch a baby’s milk bottle, their ticket can be scanned on exit, with a note recorded. On return, Smartix Scan highlights the re-entry attempt and displays the note, ensuring staff can verify the re-entry attempt and prevent misuse.
After event auditing
Section titled “After event auditing”Every scan is securely logged and accessible in Smartix Studio, including exits, re-entry attempts, and staff notes – giving you complete visibility and control. All data is exportable from Studio in a range of formats for offline review.
